Do the math

Doing the math: 8hrs of sleep, 9hrs at work, 2hrs commute, 1hr grooming, which leaves us 4hrs of free time every work day.

In that “free” 4hrs, 2hrs of that is spent grooming and taking kids to school. 1hr on fitness. 1hr reading a book/writing.

In the 9hrs at work, 2hrs is spent in eating, chit-chat, and self activities; and another 1hr in meetings and coordination, which leaves only 6hrs for actual work.

If i just do the math, i’m reminded just how much limited time i have. And if i want to use it well, i think it’s important to prioritize and focus on the core stuffs that are valuable to me.
